Angela Sherry (Duty)
Occupation: Stay at home mom Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 5 From Angela: Hi everyone,
After I graduated NA, I moved to CA with my family. A few days after graduation, I met my future husband. We were married 1 1/2 years later. We just celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. My oldest is going to be 18 in a few months. Its hard to believe I was her age when I last left PA. I will not be able to make it to the reunion, as I had planned, but I hope everyone else is doing well. Feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you. As I said, we have 5 kids, all girls. Ages - 17, 15, 13, 9, & 6. A few years ago, we moved the family away from the fast-paced CA life to a very rural canyon in UT. (step back 20 years) We love it. There are always deer, wild turkey, and even elk in our yard. As the neighbors all say, ITs a little piece of heaven. I WILL SET UP PICTURES LATER
Owen Dwyer
City: Indianapolis State/Prov.: Indiana Occupation: geographer Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Owen:
Hi, everyone: I live in Indianapolis with my wife Susan and our three children—Fiona (8), Jack (5), and Meredith (16 months). I met Susan at PennState and we married shortly thereafter in 1992. Our house is old and has proven to be a money pit. (We live no more than five minutes from the Emerson Street exit off of Interstate 70, so send out a shout while you drive east or west.) I work as a geography professor at IndianaUniversity’s city campus where I force students to memorize all the states and capitals. No, just kidding. I teach mapmaking and research methods—even more thrilling, right? Recent personal highlights include: learning to rollerblade, finding out that my cholesterol is too high, and reading the Chronicles of Narnia for the first time. Oh, and I hasten to add that I’ve remained true to the Steelers despite the late success of the local football team.
After reading all these postings, I agree with those of you who commented on how quickly twenty years have gone by. (Has there ever been a generation that hasn’t felt that way?) Many of you still look so young! Yet, it's remarkable to read about all the things that have happened over the course of two decades: lots of births, too many deaths, tons of marriages, jobs, migrations, and heartbreaks. Also, I'm terribly embarrassed to admit how many names and faces I simply don't recognize. Was our class really that large?! Have I contracted amnesia? More likely, the lack of memory probably serves as confirmation of just how very self absorbed I was in high school. Egad! My mother always said I had a bent toward narcissism.
So, this website drives home the point that I’ve really lost touch with the high-school-late-adolescence-growing-up part of my life—which is bad news considering I teach a lot of college freshmen! There certainly was nothing particularly gentle about high school and growing up, but I do miss the camaraderie that went along with belonging to a cohort. (I suppose this sense of belonging says something fundamental about my NA experience.) At the time I found it very exciting to belong to something—all that “We are NA!” stuff was a thrill. How sad that I can’t remember more of the people and experiences associated with it. Maybe the reunion will help me get a clue!
Many thanks to Alan and Tim for pulling together this website, and to Rob Tresser and Jim Talarico for telling me about it.

Thanks to all involved in the creation of this website and organizing this reunion. My family and I live in the 'burgh and I hate to admit it but we're in North Hills territory. I travel a lot so the filth hasn't taken hold. To no great surprise, I've got a house full of women. My beautiful wife, Marianne, and I have been married for 5 years and created 2 replacements. My two girls Flayre (4) and Amelia-Glee (2) are my pride and joy. I am a pilot for FedEx and my wife gave up her career to become a Domestic Goddess. For those of you that have children know it is a full time job, especially with an absent husband. October 6th is around the corner and we are both looking forward to seeing everyone.
